Genome sequencing of Trichoplax adhaerens. Trichoplax adhaerens strain:Grell-BS-1999

The Trichoplax adhaerens genome is approximately 98 Mb; one of the smallest known animal genomes. The genome of this organism has been sequenced by a whole genome shotgun approach to ~8X coverage, and has the project accession ABGP01000000 (version 01). There are 3217 contigs ABGP01000001-ABGP01003217 assembled into 1414 scaffolds DS985241-DS986654.
