Symmetry has always been treated as a mathematical condition imposed on physical theories. Gauge symmetries are postulated. Chirality is assumed. The dimensionality of space is taken as given. These properties are not derived—they are inputs. The canvas model established that matter, forces, space, and time are all fields on a pre-geometric canvas. This paper extends that principle to properties themselves. Symmetry is a field. Chirality is a field. Angle is a field. Every property that can be predicated of a physical system corresponds to a field on the canvas. The system possesses the property if and only if its associated field intersects the property field above threshold. This explains why gauge symmetries are exact (the intersection is far above threshold), why flavor symmetries are approximate (the intersection is near threshold), why CP is violated in the weak sector but conserved in the strong sector (partial versus zero intersection), and why space is three-dimensional, flat, and perpendicular (the dimension, curvature, and angle fields intersect the space fields at specific values). The paper further distinguishes two classes of fields. Structural fields intersect each other to create the spacetime voxel lattice. Their collective intersections generate an emergent spacetime field. There are exactly ten structural fields. Inhabitant fields—all the matter and force fields of the Standard Model—intersect this spacetime field. This is why they have position, propagate through space, feel gravity, and exhibit quantum randomness. The spacetime field is the central object of the canvas model. Everything connects through it. The ten structural fields correspond to the ten dimensions of string theory—a connection explored in Emergence X. Everything is a field. Everything is an intersection. And everything that exists in spacetime exists because it intersects the field that spacetime has become.
