资源简介:
The Hispano-Mexican poets are the children of Spanish Republican exiles from the Civil War born in Spain and who arrived in their adopted country as children or adolescents. From their parents they inherited a love for a homeland which, however, they got to know little and which therefore they can imagine or dream more than remember. Often, they cannot feel either Spanish or Mexican, finding themselves in some sort of middle ground, nepantla. Their consciousness of exile, therefore, is no longer linked only to having abandoned Spain, their country, but becomes a way of being, it takes an existential meaning, thus characterizing their own identity.
