Bacterial communities in nematode-resistant sheep and the associated microbiome of Trichostrongylus colubriformis

Parasitic worms are a major problem that affects the sheep industry worldwide. In recent times, we have been intrigued by the possibility that the host microbiome in the gastrointestinal tract may contribute to resistance and susceptibility to the disease. In parallel, we identified the associated microbiome of Trichostrongylus colubriformis.
