3D atlas locations of mouse thalamocortical projection neuron reconstructions (v1)

This dataset provides coordinates describing 3D locations in the Allen Common Coordinate Framework (CCF) of neuronal somata extracted from in total 20 neuronal reconstructions in adult wild-type C57BL/6 mice available in [García-Amado et al. (2020)](https://doi.org/10.25493/AWS5-MZG). Section images or atlas diagrams from the source dataset were used to define Allen CCF coordinates for the neuronal somatas. If image documentation was not available, the names of the neurons were used to couple them to an Allen CCF region instead. Allen CCF coordinates were transformed to 3D atlas point object representations (n=13) and brain region terms were transformed to an atlas mesh (n=7) using the Locare framework. The JSON files shared here follow the LocareJSON schema for sphere or mesh [(https://github.com/Neural-Systems-at-UIO/LocareJSON)](https://github.com/Neural-Systems-at-UIO/LocareJSON), making the 3D brain atlas representation of the data available for visualisation and spatial queries.
