Preciptation Climatologies

In the mid-1970s, the National Climate Center used precipitation data to calculate various climatology products, studying the climatic probability of precipitation. Products created include: precipitable water tabulations, estimating the amount of water available to form precipitation at varying pressure levels; daily singularity studies, estimating the likelihood of precipitation amounts under certain circumstances such as temperature thresholds; and daily, weekly, monthly, and annual precipitation probabilities. The collection is stored on paper, but can be digitized upon request.
