Genome-wide temperature-sensitivity of PcG regulation and reduction thereof in temperate Drosophila melanogaster

We studied temperature-sensitive expression of PcG target genes on a genome-wide scale, as well as temperature-sensitive enrichment of the associated repressive histone mark H3K27me3 and the counteracting TrxG-specific histone mark, trimethylation of histone3 at lysine 4 (H3K4me3). We examined temperature-sensitivity in female and male adult D. melanogaster, and possible differencesthereof between populations adapted to different climates.
