Data from manuscript "Method of place cell classification determines the population of cells identified". The code can be found at https://github.com/DoriMG/hpc_functional_populations.The zip file contains folders for each animal, with each animal folder containing folders for a single session. Each session folder is named by the date. Each session folder contains:A .dat file with the raw rotary encoder output and behavioral measures, such as licks performed. celltypes.mat - this is generated using run_celltype_extraction.m, and contains the cell ids of the place cells, object-vector cells, their probabilities, and their place cell centresFall.mat - the Fall output from suite2p (1)locomotion.csv and locomotion.mat - the locomotion extracted from the raw rotater encoder outputXXXX.csv - a file containing the time each frame was collectedXXXXlicks.csv - a file containing the time of each frame and the capacitance of the lick detectordata.mat - data preprocessed using run_data_extraction.m containing processed data, including the deltaF/F traces, locomotion, binary velocity (i.e. running or not), the location relative to the object, the object location over time, and the condition.A further metadata folder is available with a .mat-file containing behavior metadata, which includes an array with 4 columns.
