资源简介:
Cannabis or cannabidiol (CBD) is currently used in cancer therapy primarily for its positive effects on the side effects of chemotherapy. Whether cannabis or CBD also has an anti-cancer effect is not yet clearly described. CBD is mainly present in the cannabis plant in the form of cannabidiolic acid (CBDA), which is converted into CBD during processing. To investigate the mechanisms of action of CBD and CBDA on colon cancer cells, two different colorectal carcinoma cell lines, namely HCT116 and DLD1, were be treated with either purified CBD, purified CBDA, a Cannabis sativa plant extract with a 1:20 CBD/CBDA ratio, mix of purified CBD and CBDA with a 1:20 ratio, or a control substance, followed by RNA sequencing of the isolated RNA.
