资源简介:
Recent research has shed light on the influence of sleep deprivation on tumor progression, particularly in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), although the precise underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. Several studies have highlighted alterations in immune cell dynamics and intercellular communication as key consequences of sleep deprivation. Moreover, heightened sympathetic nervous system activity has been implicated in this context. To explore these phenomena further, transcriptome sequencing was conducted in tumor-bearing mice subjected to normal sleep conditions versus sleep deprivation. This approach aimed to delineate the molecular mechanisms linking sleep deprivation to NSCLC progression. To examine the impact of sleep deprivation on the regulation of the tumor microenvironment, we categorized tumor-bearing mice into three groups: a control group with undisturbed sleep patterns, an experimental group subjected to sleep deprivation, and a treatment group with clozapine N-oxide. This approach aimed to elucidate how sleep deprivation influences the dynamics of the tumor microenvironment in this model.
