In this study, we monitored microbial communities in the rumen and the feces of lambs separated from their dams from 12h of age and artificially fed with milk replacer (MR) and starter feed from d8, in absence or presence of a combination of live yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1077) and selected yeast metabolites. Microbial diversity and composition were assessed by rDNA amplicon sequencing using Illumina MiSeq, in samples collected from birth to 2 months of age.
