Genomic profiles of a patient with pulmonary hepatoid adenocarcinoma. Homo sapiens

Hepatoid adenocarcinoma of lung (HAL) is a rare and aggressive tumor. There are few effective treatment options in HAL patients. However, in recent years, immunotherapies have shown great promise in the treatment of cancer. Besides, several effective therapies has been developed to target to specific genetic alterations in cancers. Therefore, we examined related biomarkers using whole genome sequencing (WGS) to evaluate new therapeutic possibilities in HAL.
