资源简介:
This article examines the role of toponyms as linguistic indicators of migration patterns in Uzbek and English contexts. The study explores how geographical names preserve evidence of historical population movements, ethnic interaction, settlement processes, and cultural integration. Special attention is given to the lexical, semantic, and historical features of place names that emerged as a result of migration and territorial expansion. The research also analyzes the influence of ethnic groups, political changes, and intercultural contact on the development of toponymic systems in both languages. The findings demonstrate that Uzbek and English toponyms function as important linguistic sources for reconstructing migration history and understanding cultural transformation. The article highlights the significance of toponymic analysis in studying the relationship between language, migration, and ethnic identity.
