VPRS 11203 Hearing Files

This series was used to document tribunal hearings concerning salary and working conditions of medical practitioners. The Hospital Remuneration Tribunal was set up to deal with remuneration claims by medical practitioners and was constituted by the President of the Industrial Appeals Court (VA 1011) until 1981 and thereafter by the President of the Industrial Relations Commission (VA 1009) until the abolition of the Tribunal in 1993.The series contains copies of transcripts of tribunal hearings as well as copies of related correspondence and items presented as evidence at a Tribunal hearing.
