High-resolution China Coastal Wetland (HCCW, 2016–2024) Version 1.0 Dataset

Abstract Coastal wetlands face severe degradation under global change and high-intensity human activities. Assessing China's recent large-scale ecological restoration requires high spatial resolution data. However, existing products are inadequate for fine-scale management, suffering from coarse resolution (mostly 30 meter) or insufficient samples. We propose a novel method, Rapid Automated Multiclass Coastal Wetland Classification (RAMCWC), based on fusing spatiotemporal features and adaptive sample iteration. We produced the first 10-meter resolution annual map series of China's coastal wetlands (High-resolution China Coastal Wetland, HCCW, 2016–2024), achieving a mean annual overall accuracy of 96.11%.
