Dataset for article "Nitrous oxide dominates the long-term climate forcing of a large eutrophic sea"

This repository contains the compiled dataset of water column nitrous oxide concentration, sediment-water nitrous oxide fluxes, water-air nitrous oxide fluxes, and assoicated envrionmental parameters collected in the Baltic Sea during sampling conducted from September 10 to October 3, 2023 aboard R/V Skagerak (University of Gothenburg). The dataset (balticN2O_data.csv) includes empirical observations in the Baltic Sea across sub-basins of water column physiochemical characteristics and nitrous oxide concentrations and fluxes. Units and remarks of the dataset are found in balticN2O_metadata.csv. Thisdataset were used to generate figures in the article and to perform all statistical analyses.
