Comparison of gamma-radiation-responsive transcriptomes between Arabidopsis thaliana (ecotype Col-0) wild type and two ago2 mutant lines.

To compare the gamma-radiation-responsive transcriptone between wild-type and ago2 mutant lines (SALK_003380 and SALK_037548), we performed whole-genome expression microarray profiling using mock seedlings as controls and gamma-irradiated seedlings as test samples. Fourteen-day-old seedlings of wild-type and ago2 mutant lines were irradiated with gamma radiation for 4 hours at a dose rate of 50 Gy/hour, and gamma radiation-responsive transcripts were measured 24 hours after irradiation using whole-genome expression microarrays.
