资源简介:
Cervicogenic headache is a secondary headache caused by neck issues, with pain starting in the neck and radiating to one side of the head. It is often triggered by neck movements or postures and results from problems in the neck's joints, muscles, or nerves. Around 15-20% of all headaches are thought to be of cervicogenic origin, and it affects approximately 4% of the general population. Factors such as poor posture, muscle imbalances, and neural tissue sensitivity contribute to CGH.There are different treatment approaches for cervicogenic headache targetting muscular and articular structures but in the current study the combined treatment including Slump mobilization, Sustained Natural Apophyseal Glides (SNAGs) and Myofascial release (MFR) was given to 30 patients. Individuals were divided into two group Experimental group includes 15 patients and control group includes 15 patients. The pre and post assesment was done using Pain pressure threshold Algometer , Univeral goniometer , Headache Impact test-6 and 36- Short form Questionnaire.
