Literature survey focusing on the concentration of iron in cheese (mg/kg). This dataset was extracted from 21 research articles and from 2 food databases: Ciqual (https://ciqual.anses.fr/#/cms/download/node/20) from 2020-07-07 and FoodData Central (https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/index.html) from 2024-04-18. The research articles were extracted from a PubMed search from 2024-06-04. The search was based on: ("cheese"[MeSH Terms] OR "cheese"[All Fields] OR "cheeses"[All Fields] OR "cheese s"[All Fields]) AND ("iron"[MeSH Terms] OR "iron"[All Fields]) AND ("concentrate"[All Fields] OR "concentrated"[All Fields] OR "concentrates"[All Fields] OR "concentrating"[All Fields] OR "concentration"[All Fields] OR "concentrations"[All Fields]) A total of 42 hits was found and after curation, 21 research articles were retained for data extraction.
