IMPORTACE: Identification of individuals at high risk of developing CVD events is important in clinical settings. Thus, several popular cardiovascular risk assessment tools were developed in western countries. However, the discriminative ability of these risk assessment tools were not compared and evaluated in Middle East. OBJECTIVE: the present study was carried out to determine the predictive ability of four popular cardiovascular risk assessment tools.
