RNA-Seq analysis of the knockout and endosperm-specific expression of OsADCS and OsGTPCH1 in rice.

The functions of OsADCS and OsGTPCH1 need to be understood. We further compared and analyzed the transcriptional levels between single-knockout, co-knockout, single-expression, and co-expression with the wild-type, clarified the regulatory mechanisms of OsADCS and OsGTPCH1 during seed development. Selecting seeds 25 days after flowering from 6 transgenic lines and wild-type, RNA-Seq was used to investigate the effects of OsADCS and OsGTPCH1 on whole gene expression and general metabolism.
