Draft genome sequences are presented for seven candidate aphid-killing bacterial strains: three against the green peach aphid Myzus persicae , three against the woolly root aphid Pemphigus bursarius , and one against both aphid species. These genomes were sequenced to enable robust phylogenetic classification, to evaluate their relatedness to known human and plant pathogens, and to support future investigation of the mechanisms underlying the observed entomopathogenic effects.
