We attempted to develop a pretreatment method for methane fermentation of lignocellulosic biomass using cattle rumen fluid, treated as slaughterhouse waste. In this study, we analyzed the chronological change in bacterial flora, using the MiSeq next-generation sequencer, to identify the microbes that contribute to pretreatment.
