Controlled environment agriculture (CEA) breeding of watercress in an indoor vertical farm

Significant genotypic diversity in the powerhouse vegetable watercress was identified through phenotyping the first global wild germplasm collection. Blue light exposure influenced photomorphogenesis, nutritional quality, and sensory traits, guiding the selection of elite genotypes for CEA breeding.
