This dataset dynamically analyzes GFS forecasts and processes to generate forecasted rainfall volumes at different future time periods for Xiangshan County, Ningbo City, to provide support for government departments in flood prevention and the public's travel planning. In scenarios including typhoons and heavy rainfalls, it can assist relevant managers in analysis, judgment and decision-making, timely release and implementation of targeted measures, thereby reducing disaster losses. Taking the latest numerical forecast results of the Global Forecast System (GFS) as input data, the data is converted into grid-based rainfall data through numerical interpretation. Subsequently, topological analysis is conducted based on the vector layer of the administrative boundary of Xiangshan County, Ningbo City, to dynamically acquire grid point information within the county, and finally generate forecasted areal rainfall volumes at each hourly time point within the next 72 hours for the region.
