Restore and buffer Dibharra remnants. Propagation, weed control and planting.

This project will be the second step in seeing the Gynburra Narungga Men's Group's vision of 'Healing Dibharra' on-ground.

Green Army participants will collect seeds, propagate seedlings, undertake pest plant and animal management, undertake site preparation, plant tube stock and trial hand-casting of seed in remnant vegetation.

This will be done alongside a range of stakeholders, including Conservation Volunteers Australia, government agency staff, not-for-profit organisations, conservation contractors.
A Narungga gathering will be held to welcome the new participants and a stakeholder meeting will be held on-site. Connection will be fostered between Indigenous and non-Indigenous stakeholders and participants, to ensure long-term conservation and social outcomes.
