Spatial confounding and interference: CAFE webinar dataset

This dataset was assembled for a CAFE data management webinar on spatial confounding and interference on February 25. The dataset is at the census block group-level in California in 2016. Exposure and confounders are derived from previous CAFE datasets and 5 year ACS census data. More specifically, the sources include: (1) Average PM₂.₅ exposure at the 1 km × 1 km grid-level (Di et al 2019, CAFE Dataverse, https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/58C6HG), (2) Census Block-group census confounders from the 2012–2016 American Community Survey (3) Distance to a health center (CA Dept of Public Health, https://data.chhs.ca.gov/dataset/healthcare-facility-locations) (4) Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (Klompmaker 2023, CAFE Dataverse, https://doi.org/10.7910/DVN/V0BDE7)
