Statewide Survey of South Carolina - Mental Health and Crime Victimization during COVID-19 Pandemic

This data contains results from a statewide survey of head of households of South Carolina with an accompanying email. We ask about respondents' criminal victimization, mental/physical health changes during the pandemic, and community health/crime changes since the pandemic. We also implemented an experimental component at the end of the survey. We randomly assigned research information about the positive effects of mental health counseling and restrictive firearm policies. After each section (mental health section, for example), we asked respondents about their willingness to seek mental health counseling. After the firearm experimental component, we asked about their willingness to support restrictive firearm policies.
