Lupinus mutabilis Sequencing Project

This project aims to generate foundational genomic resources for Lupinus mutabilis (Andean lupin), an underutilized South American legume of growing importance for plant-based nutrition and sustainable agriculture. By producing genome assemblies from multiple accessions, the study seeks to expand the genomic knowledge of this species, support comparative analyses within the genus, and provide a reference framework to facilitate genome-informed breeding, domestication research, and the improvement of agronomically relevant traits.
