Map 2a - Enhancement Opportunity Areas

Enhancement opportunity areas are areas identified by the conservation authorities as "targeted areas" for restoration/stewardship initiatives that if restored would positively contribute to the natural heritage system. ROP Consolidation September 3, 2024.This layer was created using the Conservation Authority's "targeted NHS" datasets. These datasets were merged together and flattened into one feature. Any areas which fell within the Seaton boundary were removed. Any areas which were already covered by Durham Region's Draft Regional NHS were also removed.
