Cell-specific transcriptomic analysis were performed on PFC endothelial cells of unstressed controls (CTRL), stress-susceptible (SS) and resilient (RES) mice to identify novel genes and pathways involved in stress responses Animals were subject to 10 days of chronic social defeat stress, phenotype using a social interaction test then the brains were collected 24h later and PFC punched for magnetic-activated cell sorting and transcriptomic analyses.
