Lecture Evaluation of the tobacco epidemic and tobacco control measures at national and municipal levels <em><br>Tatiana I. Andreeva</em> The lecture covers the issue of tobacco control measures effectiveness and evaluation of the tobacco epidemic in general. Indicators of five levels are suggested. 1. Input (resources), 2. Process (activities to transform resources into effective measures), 3. Output (products, policies, services and programs), 4. Outcome (prevalence, initiation and cessation of smoking), 5. Impact (diseases and deaths caused by tobacco use and tobacco smoke).
