NRS-1043 | Digest of proclamations, government and general orders

Copies of Proclamations and Government and General Orders issued by the various Governors of New South Wales from the establishment of the Colony to the end of 1821 and still in force in 1821. The volume was produced, on Governor Macquarie's instructions, by Judge Advocate Wylde (HRA 1.10.676). The orders are classified and then arranged chronologically, eg. Port Regulations, Ship Regulations, and Regulations concerning Newcastle, Police, Highways, Quit Rents, Ferry tolls, Distillation, Poundage, General Musters, and Convicts.(SZ756; microfilm copy SR Reel 6039). 1 vol.
