Observation wells used in the creation of the generalized potentiometric surface of the Arikaree aquifer, Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and Bennett County, South Dakota

These data were released prior to the October 1, 2016 effective date for the USGS’s policy dictating the review, approval, and release of scientific data as referenced in USGS Survey Manual Chapter 502.8 Fundamental Science Practices: Review and Approval of Scientific Data for Release. This data set describes observation wells completed in the Arikaree aquifer that were used to create a map of the generalized potentiometric surface of the Arikaree aquifer in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and Bennett County. The observation wells are owned by the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
