This study was motivated by the urgent need for validated tools that support the sustainability transformation of universities. The study evaluated the effectiveness of a professional development module organized around the <i>Leading Change for Sustainability in Higher Education</i> (LCS-HE) simulation. The study employed a quasi-experimental, time-series research design to assess the LCS-HE simulation-based learning module on 50 Myanmar university administrators and lecturers. Descriptive and inferential data analyses found high levels of learner engagement among the lecturers throughout the simulation. Quantitative data gathered over the three weeks of the professional development module also revealed significant changes in the participants' knowledge and skills of change management.
