We study the structures of a wide variety of macromolecules, including fluorescent and metabolic proteins. One of our primary focus is the characterization and
determination of the 3D structures of novel fluorescent proteins, such as those derived from bacteriophytochrome. In addition, we are actively involved in
characterizing enzymes from various metabolic pathways. Our research also involves the development of instrumentation and methodologies for both X-ray and
neutron diffraction studies.
