OpenData State and Trends Data and Processing Scripts

In 2022 Horizons Regional Council (HRC) undertook an assessment of the state and trend of water quality at monitoring sites around the Manawatū-Whanganui region. During this process HRC monitoring data was used to grade the water quality at individual sites against categories defined in the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management 2020. This assessment was performed by modification of R scripts provided to HRC by Land Water People (landwaterpeople.co.nz) and by Python scripts developed in-house. This geodatabase contains the data and scripts used to generate the state and trend assessment, as well as the associated meta data.
