This series comprises a volume recording admissions to the Infirmary Department at the Royal Women's Hospital (VA 1241). Nearly all the cases recorded are abortions alongside a few other gynaecological cases. Information recorded includes: Date, Name, Age, Preg. (number of pregnancies), Time, Religion, State (married or single), Birth (patient's birthplace), recommended by, Husband's or own Occupation, Address, Telephone, Diagnosis. The volume is marked as "Lady Sybil Ward Admission Register". Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the RWH Archives in RWH series number 0157.
