National Ecological Observatory Network Sequence Data

The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) is an NSF-funded, long-term, continent-scale monitoring program aimed at enabling understanding and forecasting impacts of change on ecosystems. The network consists of numerous terrestrial and aquatic sites distributed across the United States, where long-term, comprehensive sampling will occur. As part of its organismal sampling, NEON is measuring the diversity and composition of bacteria, archaea, fungi, zooplankton and macroinvertebrates using high-throughput DNA sequencing.
