The ρcancer/norm column holds the Spearman rank correlation between normal tissue-specific gene weights () and the log ratio of mean expression in the cancer type to mean expression in the normal tissue (ri,j). The ρsurv column holds the Spearman rank correlation between normal tissue-specific gene weights () and the signed log of the p-value from a Kaplan-Meir test of the association between gene expression and cancer survival as computed by Uhlen et al. [18]) (si,j, which is computed as -log(p-value) for favorable genes and log(p-value) for unfavorable genes).
