BDBSA Collect

This tool aims to provide a simple BDBSA friendly option for recording sighting records of flora and fauna across South Australia. It requires minimum effort and training and has a central data management approach. The BioCollect environment allows it to be used by non-government personnel such as consultants and naturalists. This project presents us with a number of opportunities:
- Efficiencies to be made in record capture, consistency and processing
- Expert knowledge is captured contemporaneously into a corporate (shared) dataset
- Staff will be willing to contribute more often when they see the ease of use and fast feedback time
- Data is easily retrievable
