The Tobique Watershed Association Water Monitoring Project aims to build a baseline assessment of the water quality of the Tobique watershed through chemical parameters, as well as visually assess erosion and collect samples of algae. Water quality chemical parameters are measured using a portable YSI Pro Plus meter and HOBO temperature loggers. This data is analyzed along with historical data from the Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development to determine the water quality of the Tobique Watershed.
