COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES IN THE SYSTEM OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

The article examines the role of computer technologies in the modern system of foreign language teaching. The influence of digital educational resources on improving students’ language training, increasing academic motivation, and developing communicative competence is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to multimedia tools, Internet resources, interactive platforms, and automated knowledge assessment programs as effective instruments for organizing a language-learning environment. It is emphasized that the use of computer technologies contributes to the individualization of instruction, activation of students’ independent cognitive activity, and approximation of the educational process to real conditions of intercultural communication. The article concludes that the digitalization of language education is one of the key directions in the modernization of contemporary linguodidactics.
