To ensure the diversity and comprehensiveness of the dataset, images were collected from various angles, backgrounds, and distances, aiming for a balanced distribution of defect targets across different types of instruments. Subsequently, the collected meter defect images were meticulously categorised into six categories: blurred meter dial, rusted and damaged instrument housing, rusted instrument housing, discoloured respirator silicone, and damaged respirator silicone cover.
