Ithomiini mimicry classification

This is a temporary version associated with an article currently under review.

The final release of the archive will be open once the peer-reviewed process is completed.

This repository contains the mimicry classification for ithomiine butterfly subspecies applied for the analyses presented in the research paper "Anthropogenic pressures coincide with Neotropical biodiversity hotspots in a flagship butterfly group" [(DOI to be updated)].

This repository contains one folder and two files :

     - A folder with pictures of type-specimens of all 44 mimicry rings

     - An Excel file with the mimicry classification of the 1,595 subspecies of Ithomiini butterflies and the list of type-specimens identifying each mimicry ring pattern

     - A PDF plate illustrating all 44 mimicry rings with type-specimens
