SAL introduces himself and talks about his family origins and his knowledge of weaving. He mentions the names of several types of loincloths that were made in the region before the arrival of industrial loincloths and the decline of weaving. Using a few old tools that he keeps at home, he then demonstrates how weaving was done on a horizontal loom with two rows of heddles.
