Comprehensive Patient Level Dataset for a Systematic Review of Melorheostosis Clinical Presentation, Imaging Features, and Treatment Outcomes

This dataset contains the comprehensive patient-level data extracted for the systematic review “Melorheostosis: A Systematic Review of Clinical Presentation, Imaging Features, and Treatment Outcomes.” It includes 69 patients from 55 published case reports and case series meeting the review eligibility criteria. Extracted variables include patient demographics, clinical symptoms, age of onset, anatomical distribution, skin and soft tissue involvement, radiographic findings, CT/MRI findings, bone scan results, other imaging findings, histopathology, genetic and molecular findings, conservative and surgical management, treatment outcomes, complications, follow-up duration, disease progression, functional outcomes, associated syndromes or comorbidities, unique clinical features, novel treatment approaches, and JBI critical appraisal scores. Citation numbers correspond to the reference numbering used in the associated manuscript. The dataset is provided to improve transparency and reproducibility of the systematic review.
