Export value in Central American by main countries of destination 2023

In 2023, the United States led the list of destination countries for merchandise exports from the Central American region, with a total export value of over 16 billion U.S. dollars. Aside from the United States, Central American exports were mainly intra-regional. Honduras was the destination of over 3.1 billion U.S. dollars' worth of goods, and El Salvador accounted for over 3.1 billion.
