Behavioural and metabolic responses of scallops to pile driving sound

This dataset contains behavioural and physiological measurements collected on the great scallop (Pecten maximus) during controlled laboratory experiments investigating responses to pile driving sound exposure. Behavioural data include valve activity and movement events (swimming, jumping, and partial closures), while physiological data include respiration and clearance rates. Measurements were obtained before and during sound exposure under standardized conditions. The dataset supports analyses of the relationship between behavioural activity and metabolic rates.
