Researcher Survey for Service Model to Access Federated Sensitive Data, 2025

This data collection comprises responses to a survey conducted as part of the Connect4 project. The survey was designed to elicit researcher opinions on recommendations developed to support the creation of a shared service across the UK’s national Trusted Research Environments (TREs).

In addition, the survey collected information on respondents’ prior experiences of accessing sensitive data held across multiple TREs. The dataset provides insight into researcher perspectives on cross-environment data access and the challenges associated with working with restricted-access data across organisational boundaries.
